TM Advertising Continues to Fly with Thru
Multi-million dollar agency renews contract for SendThru and ShareThru, as the McCann-Erickson network (and the rest of the advertising industry) continues to move away from FTP
Irving, Texas, October 9, 2009 – TM Advertising, one of the largest full-service advertising agencies in the southern U.S., announced the renewal of their contract with Thru for use of SendThru and ShareThru products agency-wide.
As an independent agency within the McCann-Erickson network, and part of the Interpublic Group of companies, TM is one of the largest agencies in the southern U.S., and is best know as agency of record for American Airlines and Nationwide Insurance. TM has been using Thru to share large print and broadcast commercial files within the agency and with their clients across the country and around the world.

Creative team members in TM offices across the country use SendThru, our certified global file transfer solution, to send media files of unlimited size, anywhere in the world quickly and securely. All accessed from the Web. Our Dropbox feature allows posting of commercials and print ads for clients to download and review, with detailed tracking information for the sender. Agency creatives no longer rely on post-production houses to distribute media files, or sending via their own FTP servers. Clients can access material anywhere in the world.
FTP had been the agency’s standard for file distribution, and is still prevalent throughout the advertising industry, but FTP lacks fundamental monitoring and security. Files can be lost, deleted or accessed improperly from FTP servers with no means of tracking delivery. FTP is cumbersome for clients and team members outside the agency to access material quickly and easily.
