Thru Appoints James K. Sims of GEN3 Partners to the Thru Board of Directors
Irving, Texas, April 14, 2008 – Thru, a global leader in delivering critical messaging solutions, today announced the appointment of James Sims, Chairman and Chief executive officer of GEN3 Partners, as director to the Thru Board of Directors. Previously, Mr. Sims was elected to the EDS Board of Directors in September of 2006. He was also Chairman of the Board of RSA Security Inc., a provider of online identity and digital asset security services acquired by EMC in 2006 for $2.1 billion.

Mr. Sims has served as Chairman of GEN3 Partners, Inc. since September 1999 and as CEO from September 1999 to September 2007; Chairman of Airgain, Inc. since November 2004; Chairman of American EPS, Inc. since February 2005; and Chairman of Groxis, Inc. since November 2004. Previously, he was director of Enterasys Networks, Inc. from June 2004 to March 2005, and CEO and president of Cambridge Technology Partners Inc. from February 1991 to July 1999. Among Mr. Sims’ many achievements was his recognition as New England’s Outstanding Entrepreneur in 1996.
