What this Privacy Policy Covers

• This policy covers how Thru treats personal information that Thru collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Thru services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your email address and name.
• This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Thru does not own or control, or to people that Thru does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

• Thru only collects email addresses when you send file(s) via Thru. The email address of the person distributing files and the email addresses of those on the distribution list are stored in the Thru system. These email addresses are NOT shared with any other company and are ONLY used so you can track file(s) distributions.
• Personal information is collected for the Free 15-Day Trial and Reseller Program, including Email Address, Name, Company Name & Phone Number. This information is ONLY used for verification and is not used for any other purpose.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• Thru does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide services you have requested or under the following circumstances:
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Thru EULA, or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if Thru is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Thru will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Notification of an acquisition or merger will be done via email. Users will have the option as to how your information will be used.

Access

• A user can delete or modify/change their personal information from the site after it has been collected by emailing helpcenter at thruinc.net.
• Users who have their own Thru site are able to delete or modify/change personal information via the ‘MY PROFILE' in the application.
• All personal information contained in Free 15-Day Trial Thru sites are deleted at the end of the trial.

Cookies

• A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.
