Application Developer Terminal C Uses FTH

Terminal C, an application developer out of Houston, Texas and Vietnam, recently implemented FTH (File Transaction Hub) a service offered by Rumble Group to easily and securely transact any type of file over the Internet. Terminal C has an international orientation that offers an outsourcing advantage for a wide array of clients. They have developed browser-based logistics solutions, GIS, and desktop applications for enterprises within numerous market verticals. The files shared between the code-writers, the management team and clients, ultimately require a high degree of security. Ray Elliot, President, stated, "Terminal C sends sensitive files to our clients almost daily. As we are software developers, these files often require critical availability & security. In the past we have used our own ftp server along with encrypting the files. We still use the encryption but now deliver the files via FTH. Our clients get a professional delivery notice and a download link. We can set the download availability period. And we get confirmation of a download. This perfectly fits our needs." Terminal C is a Java, web and handheld application developer for medium to large enterprises as well as for software vendors. With offices in Houston, Texas and Saigon, Vietnam, Terminal C is able to offer its clients quick 24x5 service from its staff of about 40 developers and technicians. www.terminalc.com

TV Man Avoids Firewall Issues with FTH Don Sattler, President of TV Man, stated, " As a client driven post facility, we constantly have to send approval copies of spots to clients all around the country and the world. I have been using FTH for several months now and am quite pleased with how it has helped us serve our clients. Before FTH, emailing large Quicktime movies to clients in large corporations and ad agencies was difficult because of firewall limitations and email size restrictions on the client side. I tried to get clients to download from our FTP site but most of them don't have the technical patience, and hate dealing with passwords. With FTH every client has easily downloaded their files whether they are at the office, traveling or at home. This is much easier than email or ftp. Also, I appreciate the email notification feature because it confirms delivery and that has come in quite handy."

Lighted Path Uses FTH for High-Definition File Transfers Lighted Path Digital Arts & FX, a Dallas based post-production company, recently implemented FTH, or File Transaction Hub. FTH is a service offered by Rumble Group of Dallas, to easily and securely transact any type of file over the Internet. Lighted Path services national clients with the production of music videos, television commercials and DVD authoring. Keith Hill, President of Lighted Path, stated, "Right now, I use FTH for file transfer between digital artists as far away as South Africa. For example, I'm working on a commercial ad in which some of the 3D animation is being done by an associate in South Africa. With FTH I can send him a Final Cut Pro HD offline version of the timeline or any updates that we both need to share as the work progresses." "The FTH service is great! I was intending to invest in an ftp server and was blown away by the cost differential between FTH and that product. After trying FTH, I really don't see any need for me to invest in that infrastructure, hardware and maintenance to have a secure way of managing my client approvals, file transfers, etc. Also, Rumble's customer service is great, training has been more than I could ask for and it's 24/7. The fact that FTH is scalable to whatever needs I may have in the future in working with High Definition video files will make me a long-term customer. It is truly helping me to provide a quality service for my clients and a secure environment for me to share work with others while keeping my costs low." Lighted Path Digital Arts and FX is a division of Lighted Path Entertainment Group, a creative digital content and entertainment production company based in Dallas, Texas.
