To access the OptiBAND™ dashboard, click the drop-down menu within your Thru site and select Thru Controller.

A new window will open and take you to the OptiBAND™ Dashboard.

When you first enter the OptiBAND Dashboard you will see the “nodes diagram” (image below).

It shows you an overview of all nodes that are set up on your network and shows details for each node like the bandwidth limits to and from the Cloud (hub), the names of each node, and the network status.

In the example below, you can see there are three OptiBAND nodes deployed on cruise ships (Ships 1, 2 and 3) that connect to the Cloud (hub) that has been called “SHORE”.

Next to each node you can view the set bandwidth limits for each node when data is transferring to the Hub (under ← To Hub) as well as when data is transferring to the nodes (under To Node →).

On the left-hand side of the Dashboard interface is the action toolbar where you can monitor the transfer queues, manage users, add nodes, configure bandwidth limits and more.

Below are the definitions of each icon on the action toolbar starting from the top:

This icon takes you back to the nodes diagram page that you first came to when you opened the OptiBAND control panel.

You could consider this icon the “Home” button of OptiBAND.

Hub Transfer Queue

This icon (<<<) takes you to the Hub Transfer Queue to view all file transfers arriving to the hub.

The list includes in-progress transfers as well as recently completed transfers within the last 48 hours.

Nodes Transfer Queue

This icon (>>>) takes you to the Nodes Transfer Queue to view file transfers sent to nodes.

The list includes in-progress transfers as well as recently completed transfers within the last 48 hours.

Add Nodes

Use the plus icon (+) to configure a new node.

Edit Nodes

To edit the bandwidth settings for each node or to remove a node, select the pencil icon.

Daily Pulse Report

This icon will take you to the Daily Pulse Report page that shows you all the file transfer activities that have happened for the past 8 days.

Here you can view detailed analytics of each file transfer to track system performance.

Node Users

Use this icon to access the User Routing List where you can create and manage users for all existing nodes.

General Settings

To access the General Settings of OptiBAND, select the gear icon. Here you can configure pulse frequency, upload settings, and simulation settings.

Bandwidth Management Help

The question mark icon takes you to a page with information on configuring bandwidth management.
