Thru Appoints New VP of Marketing to Help Further Extend Thru Managed File Transfer into Global Markets

Annette Krausse named new VP of Marketing

Irving, Texas, October 07, 2010 – Thru, LLC, provider of the leading globally networked Managed File Transfer as a Service (MFTaaS) platform, has named Annette Krausse as VP of Marketing to assist in the company’s rapid global markets growth and to support Thru’s continuous efforts toward hosted MFT service innovation. Krausse will help to evangelize Thru’s global network, web services API, and rigid SLAs, as the company extends its MFTaaS platform—particularly its SyncThru service—into complex, multi-enterprise B2B environments.

With more than 20 years of experience building and growing organizations in the B2B applications sector, Krausse brings with her the creativity and know-how needed to help Thru expand its worldwide presence and support growth in global markets. Krausse joins Thru after holding recent marketing positions in the data security space, where she oversaw a wide range of direct and channel programs—from corporate strategy to campaigns focused on awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation.

“Thru is expanding further in to European and other global marketplaces, establishing its MFTaaS platform as the solution of choice for B2B enterprises,” said Lee Harrison, CEO of Thru. “We are confident that Annette’s depth of marketing expertise across a range of industries will enable her to strategically position Thru as we expand our reach into global supply chain ecosystems that require secure and efficient exchange of large files and data.”

Krausse has also held marketing management positions for mobile and wireless communications, data security, electronics, and supply chain management software organizations, including companies offering both consumer and B2B on-premise software and SaaS solutions.
