Thru, Inc Systems Engineer II

Thru is looking for a highly motivated and professional System Engineer Level II. Under direct supervision, this individual is responsible for implementation and support for Thru platform for both external and internal customers. Candidates for this position will have an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Windows platform and be able to effectively communicate that understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Thru code both in Thru datacenters and customer datacenters.
  • Thru customer site management, application code promotions, Code and Windows infrastructure troubleshooting and OS system patches.
  • Occasional desktop and network support.
  • Review application and systems logs and escalate to proper personnel.
  • Manage Corp website infrastructure and code promotes.
  • Assist in Salesforce administration.
  • Office 365 administration.
  • Provide continual improvement recommendations for support.
  • Participate in customer and internal projects as required.
  • Research new technology and methodologies to incorporate into Thru’s architecture.
  • Liaison with sales team and other departments on IT related issues.
  • Generate reports and run MSSQL queries for various departments.
  • Working knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Customer Support and problem resolution.

Business Travel

  • Not expected for this role

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a BS or 8 years of experience in IT related field
  • MCP, MCSE, Azure certification required

Relevant Work Experience
5+ years in the following areas:

  • Server deployment and troubleshooting
  • Application Code deployment
  • Windows environment management
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft product suite; to include IIS, MSSQL, and Active Directory
  • O365 administration
  • Desktop support
    • Ability to communicate and respond to multiple trouble tickets in a timely manner
  • Customer support
    • Must be able to manage enterprise level customers and customer requests with a professional and positive attitude
    • Ability to communicate and respond to multiple trouble tickets in a timely manner
  • Basic network skills
    • VPNs \ Firewalls
