Thru only collects email addresses when you send file(s) using Thru. The email address of the person distributing files and the email addresses of those on the distribution list are stored in the Thru system. These email addresses are NOT shared with any other company and are ONLY used for file track file(s) tracking and reporting purposes.
Personal information is collected for the Reseller Program, including Email Address, Name, Company Name & Phone Number. This information is ONLY used for verification and is not used for any other purpose.
Thru does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide services you have requested or under the following circumstances:
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Thru EULA, or as otherwise required by law.
A user can delete or modify/change their personal information from the site after it has been collected by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Users who have their own Thru site are able to delete or modify/change personal information using the ‘MY PROFILE’ in the application.
Thru provides stringent technical access controls and policies that prevent unauthorized access to any user data. Access to user data such as file names, locations and metadata, not files, in order to provide operational and technical support and to provide information when Thru is legally required to do so, Thru senior management may authorize a very limited number of employees limited access to said user data. Thru employees are carefully screened including background checks before any access authorization is granted. All transactions are monitored, logged and maintained in a tamper-proof environment for audit and tracking purposes.
