Lee Harrison founded Thru, Inc., in 2002 with an obsession to design a comprehensive solution for business file transfer needs. A seasoned executive with over two decades of management experience in technology companies, he guided the implementation of Thru’s robust cloud-based enterprise software. With his background in operations, financial control, engineering, sales and team leadership, Lee led Thru into Gartner’s magic quadrant and Cool Vendor status. His past roles include Director of Operations at Southwest Teleproductions, where he guided the company through 40 consecutive profitable quarters. As Founder and CEO of I/O Partners, Inc., Lee drove the company to become the largest Systems Integrator (SI) for Discreet (a division of Autodesk). Within two years under his leadership, I/O Partners earned $27 million in revenue and in 2000 was named the 49th fastest growing entrepreneurial company in the U.S.
When not developing current and new ventures, Lee enjoys golf, snow and water skiing with his wife and two daughters.
Sergey Arutiunov is a member of Thru’s founding team and serves as Head of Product and Solutions. Sergey has over 20 years of experience in software and solution designs, engineering and product management and cloud operations in Silicon Valley. Sergey has collaborated with large technology and content companies such as Apple, IBM, Microsoft, Disney, VMWare, Sage and Dell. In his current role, he is responsible for development of Thru’s product line, hybrid solution architectures and operation of the cloud services. Prior to joining Thru, Sergey was a leader of several software engineering teams in the areas of digital media asset management, internet infrastructure applications, computer graphics and artificial intelligence.
Sergey holds a Master degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Moscow University.
As CFOO, Linden “Lindy” Manuel plays an integral role in formulating, directing and managing the company’s business model as well as developing and implementing strategic plans. He oversees the financial health of the company, which includes supervising company-wide management, financial and operational matters. In addition to being a Thru founding team member, Lindy has over 30 years of experience across numerous technology companies. His background includes project management of multi-million dollar implementations in Fortune 100 companies, global operations management, national account sales of several breakthrough technologies and work with corporate CEOs to drive company turnarounds. Lindy has held a variety of roles including President, CEO, Director of Operations, Director of Customer Service, Managing Director and Director of Program Management.
In addition to his commitment to corporate success, Lindy is the founding member of Young Life McKinney Texas Chapter and the McKinney Independent School District Alpha Parents (ALPS). In partnership with a close friend, he also managed Eastside Economic Development Corp which built affordable homes in depressed neighborhoods for no profit.
In his capacity as CGO, Ian Snead works across key areas of the business: marketing, sales, product and finance to drive growth by implementing the long-term vision and optimizing business activities. Ian has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience working in an array of technology ventures. His first start up was vzaar, an online video platform which he grew from concept to a multi-million dollar leading Enterprise Video Platform. Ian’s other ventures include launching a successful Visual Effects sales division within WPP (WPPGY) offering visual effects solutions to the film, video and gaming industry in the UK which was later sold. Throughout his career, Ian has always taken a customer-centric view to ensure what is being offered is meaningful and relevant to ensure value for both parties.
Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Ian was educated on both sides of the Atlantic and finished at Florida Atlantic University. An avid Rugby player, Ian plays for Cobham Rugby Club in Surrey England. He hopes one day to play alongside his two sons who are in the youth side for CRFC.
As Vice President of Engineering and Principal Engineer, Steven King sets goals, builds timelines for and manages the development of our products. He has over 20 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years at Sabre as a Principal System Engineer. While he was at Sabre, Steven created original AWS cloud strategy documents, was responsible for all airline solutions systems, created a cloud working group and was an Enterprise Governance team member. His experience in software and system architecture, cloud and information security has been crucial for the successful launch of our next-generation file transfer platform.
Steven has a Master’s in Computer Engineering from National Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University.
