With a background in operations, financial control, engineering, sales and team leadership, Mr. Harrison is the right leader for Thru. As Director of Operation for Southwest Tele-productions, a Dallas based television post-production company, Mr. Harrison guided Southwest through forty consecutive profitable quarters. Mr. Harrison was founder and CEO of I/O Partners, Inc. I/O Partners was focused on the highly competitive digital broadcast industry. Under Mr. Harrison’s leadership I/O Partners accomplished impressive revenue growth in a short period of time. Mr. Harrison established I/O Partners as Discreet’s (a division of Autodesk) largest systems integrator worldwide with over $27 million in revenue, and the company was named by Dun and Bradstreet as the 49th fastest growing entrepreneurial company in the U.S for year 2000.
Sergey Arutiunov is a member of the Thru founding team and serves as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Arutiunov has over 20 years experience in software design and engineering management, with the last 15 years in Silicon Valley, and collaborated with large technology and content companies such as Apple, IBM, Microsoft, and Disney. In his current role, he is responsible for development of all Thru client, server and network technologies, products and cloud services. Prior to joining Thru, Mr. Arutiunov was a leader of a number of software engineering teams in Silicon Graphics in the areas of digital media file management, internet infrastructure applications, and computer graphics. He also worked on a number of artificial intelligence applications in diverse areas. Mr. Arutiunov holds a Master degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Moscow University.
Ian Snead serves as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Thru, Inc. Mr. Snead is responsible for Thru’s global marketing strategy and overseas all sales related functions. Prior to Thru, Ian Snead joined with 15+ years as a sales and marketing leader focused on technology start-ups. Co-founder and VP of Sales for vzaar online video platform, Editopia the open source editing platform and Visions Media F/X a premier Autodesk partner. Mr. Snead started up a new division within marketing leader WPP (WPPGY) offering visual effects solutions to the gaming industry.
Denis Brotzel has over 20 years’ experience as a sales and field operations executive in both early to mid-stage start-ups and publicly-held technology companies. Mr. Brotzel has built direct sales teams and multiple distribution channels into enterprise, Federal and SMB markets with industry experience that includes internet messaging, security and compliance solutions delivered via software and SaaS platforms. Prior to joining Thru, Mr. Brotzel was the SVP of Worldwide Sales at Actiance, the leader in comprehensive security, management and compliance solutions for Unified Communications and Social Networking applications. Before that, Mr. Brotzel was SVP of Worldwide Sales at Code Green Networks. Prior to their acquisition by Axway, Mr. Brotzel was SVP of Worldwide Sales at Tumbleweed Communications (NASDAQ: TMWD), a leader in Managed File Transfer and secure messaging solutions. Mr. Brotzel has also held senior executive positions at EGS, Inc. (acquired by Invensys) and Measurex (acquired by Honeywell).
Subhashini Simha oversees product planning and product marketing strategy for Thru’s product portfolio and is responsible for product roadmap planning, messaging, positioning, analyst relations and sales enablement. Ms. Simha comes with 12+ years of product marketing, product management and sales experience for enterprise software and services companies having worked for Microsoft (Microsoft Corp. and Microsoft India), Mphasis (formerly part of HP), Sabre and others on a set of technologies and solutions including Cloud (SaaS and PaaS), mobility, enterprise business applications and enterprise resource planning (ERP), Microsoft Office, unified communications, business intelligence and analytics with a focus on CxOs, developers, IT professionals and partners. Ms. Simha holds an Electronics and Communications Engineering degree (B Tech.) from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, India, and Post Graduate Program Certification in Marketing from University of Washington at Seattle.
